Brothers In Arms is a very different kind of Bass Masters study: instead of a busy riff, we’re digging into a slow, spacious ballad where every single note matters. This month we’ll use John Illsley’s beautifully understated line to work on consistent tone, note length and feel, and how to support a song without filling every gap. You’ll learn the line in three progressive levels and then record your own version with the bass‑less backing track for this month’s challenge.

Along with the study video and challenge, you'll also get an invite to the group coaching session on Thursday 25th June (with replay) where we'll go over the challenge.

You also get the option to submit a recording in the community area for feedback.
