For this challenge, weā€™re going deep on that legendary outro bass line John McVie played on 'The Chain' by Fleetwood Mac. This was recorded on aĀ fretless Alembic with a stainless steel fingerboard and flatwounds, played with a pickĀ for that smooth but punchy tone.
In the study video I teach the bass line in three levels and also chat about the gear that John McVie used on the original recording, as how to get near to this tone yourself.
