Knowing the notes is one thing.
Knowing how to use them to build a great bass line is another.
In Workshop No. 10, we'll take simple blues bass lines and gradually develop them using practical blues language.
You'll hear exactly how relatively small changes can make a bass line sound more sophisticated, musical and expressive.
Â
HOW IT WORKS
Two practical live sessions
SESSION 1 — BUILDING THE LANGUAGEÂ
We'll look at the key ingredients of advanced blues bass lines and put each idea into a practical musical context.
SESSION 2 — DEVELOPING THE BASS LINEÂ
We'll take those ideas and combine them to build complete blues bass lines, including a practical challenge for you to create your own.
